Vatican’s anti-child abuse panel to issue first full report in 2024

The secretary for the Vatican's anti-child abuse panel says its first full report won't be released until 2024.

Pope Francis tasked the panel with producing annual reports on the issue in April of this year, citing greater transparency and tougher punishments for abusers as major goals. According to the panel's secretary, a "blueprint" of the first report will come late next year, but the first full report won't be expected until 2024.
