Forget politics, culture, or change resistance - according to pastors, apathy toward the church is today's greatest challenge.
In a new study of a thousand Protestant pastors in the United States, Lifeway Research says apathy or lack of commitment was the biggest challenge when it came to "people dynamics" in the church. In an increasingly secularized world with fewer and fewer young people identifying as Christian, some Christian leaders say they are even more concerned about apathy within the church than outside of it.
