Future MLB Hall-Of-Famer Albert Pujols gave credit to his faith in God as he closed out his 23-year career in professional baseball last weekend.
Pujols said he had considered retiring mid-season after a discouraging start, but his faith and the people around him encouraged him to continue. The result was a mid-season turnaround that led him to a strong finish, becoming the fourth-ever player to surpass 700 career home runs.
