The leak of a draft opinion from the U.S. Supreme Court this week suggests that the court may be about to overturn Roe v. Wade, the historic decision that legalized and protected abortion rights in the United States.

While most conservative Christians are celebrating the looming reversal of the law, it is important to remember two things: first, that a reversal of Roe v. Wade would only remove federal protection on abortion, leaving the law up to individual states to decide; and second, that most Christians who are not affiliated with evangelical churches still support some form of abortion access.
