From Religion News Service

The author of a new book on the faith and prayer lives of those experiencing homelessness says she was surprised by the gratitude she saw in her subjects.

Susan Dunlap, who has a PhD in practical theology and teaches at Duke Divinity School, volunteers at a homeless shelter hosting a prayer session three mornings a week.
