“The situation can seem hopeless, but Jesus is present,”

God at work in Iraq

Samaritan’s Purse programs are supplying the needs of families and children displaced by ISIS in northern Iraq.

Families and children running for their lives from militant jihadists, ISIS, have found another chance at life thanks to Samaritan’s Purse.

The aid organization is providing supplies for the displaced families, even Christmas shoeboxes and sharing the Gospel. Now Samaritan’s Purse is moving beyond immediate relief and winterization to programs that focus on long-term needs for the thousands forced from their homes last year.

“The situation can seem hopeless, but Jesus is present,” Samaritan’s Purse release explains. “The song the children learned at the shoebox distribution is true: There is nothing that God cannot do.”
