Nicknamed "God's Smuggler" and "Brother Andrew," Dutch evangelist Anne van der Bijl has died at the age of 94.

Brother Andrew was known for smuggling bibles into communist countries in his Volkswagen Beetle - with these adventures published in the 1967 book God's Smuggler - and as the founder of Open Doors, drawing attention to the plight of Christians worldwide persecuted for their faith.
