As Roe’s potential fall nears, abortion abolitionists turn on ‘pro-life elites’

Christian views on the potential overturning of Roe v. Wade can vary widely, but it seems even those most firmly in the pro-life camp are split on how the United States should handle abortion.

Florida pastor Tom Ascol has quickly made himself a spokesperson for those who believe abortion should be treated exactly the same as murder. Others in the pro-life movement say the focus should be on saving babies rather than putting more women in jail, pointing out that the abortion rate in the United States is about 25 times higher than the murder rate, and that the country's prisons simply could not hold the potential influx of those who might otherwise be charged as "murderers."
