12 remaining missionaries kidnapped in Haiti are now free

Two months after being kidnapped while visiting a Haitian orphanage, all of the remaining missionaries from Christian Aid Ministries have been released.

The group of 17 missionaries, including one Canadian, was captured on October 16. Several individuals had been released previously for unclear reasons, and their identities were not shared. Early reports suggest that no ransom was paid, despite the kidnappers demanding one million dollars per person.
