Manning: Christians need prudence and patience

Setting aside differences key to political victory

Politically active Christians risk losing more than they can ever hope to gain when they oppose new laws that fail to go as far as they would like, says former Reform Party leader Preston Manning.

That division within Canada’s faith community, he added, is also “why no government ever since has even tried to [deal with abortion] again.”

Willow Creek leaders walk a new path

They’ve been with the organization since its formation in 2000. In the years since, they’ve overseen its growth from a small up-start Canadian ministry to a thriving national organization that works to equip and encourage Christian leaders to build burgeoning local churches.
