Medical clinic for homeless funded

Saul Sair's sister, Anne Senesky, and her two grand-nieces, stand by his million dollar donation to homeless ministry in Winnipeg.

Anne Senesky and her two great nieces stand by plans for the Siloam Medical Clinic, designated for Winnipeg’s homeless. Senesky was on hand to present a million dollar gift in honour of her brother, Saul Sair, who donated the money in his estate for the homeless community of Winnipeg.

In honour of Sair, Siloam Mission in downtown Winnipeg will establish the 1,800 square foot Siloam Medical Clinic. With assistance from The University of Manitoba School of Nursing, School of Dentistry and physicians from private practices, the Clinic will provide public health services, dental hygiene treatment, chiropractic care as well as spiritual care. This will include waiting and reception areas, examining rooms, X-ray and darkoom as well as a laboratory and pharmacy.

The million dollars will assist in construction, equipment and administrative costs. The target opening date for the Siloam Medical Clinic is in late 2006.
