Anglican parishoners defy head bishop
NORTH VANCOUVER, BC-New Westminster Anglican bishop Michael Ingham's decision five months ago to take direct control of the dissident, pastor-less parish of St. Martin's has only made matters worse, says a long-time member. In September, Ingham invoked Canon 15, a rarely used church law that allows a bishop to assume control of a parish in "pastoral crisis."
