Former Sikh founds resource centreEvangelist looks for ways to bridge culturesBy Tony Gosgnach - Special to ChristianWeek Raj Sandhu, who was raised as a Sikh before becoming a Christian, started The Resource Centre for South Asians at Paramount Drive Alliance Church in the Hamilton suburb of Stoney Creek when he became a minister at the church in April. Sandhu found that although Sikhs and Hindus have become two of Canadas largest cultural communities, there was little access to resources regarding them. "Over the last several years, I contacted several organizations, institutions and denominations to find out what they had for reaching out to these communities," he says.
