New Christian paper launched in ManitobaBy ChristianWeek staffFellowship for Print Witness, which publishes ChristianWeek, launched Christian LifeStyle in September to fill that gap. Often there is a newsworthy faith angle to a news story, explains editor Kevin Heinrichs, but "the faith angle is missing in a lot of the secular media." Heinrichs, a graduate of Carleton Universitys Journalism program, previously worked at the Mennonite Brethren Herald for two years. He sees the need for a broadly-based Christian paper as a networking tool among the Christian community in the province. The monthly paper, which includes news, features, and practical columns on money management, car care, counselling issues and household matters, is also an endeavor to bridge between the Christian and non-Christian community.
