Leadership team expands

There are many changes in the works here at Fellowship for Print Witness (FPW) and we are pleased to bring new hands to the task. Brian Koldyk came on at the beginning of July as group publisher, taking a business leadership role with the team that produces ChristianWeek and ChristianCurrent.

A veteran of the publishing industry, Brian will be working out of the Winnipeg office of FPW (our official corporate name). Among other things, he will direct the daily business affairs of the corporation.

Brian will also be working to develop new opportunities that fit our Christian communications mandate. One of his first projects will be to head up the launch of ChristianCurrent Winnipeg/Manitoba this fall.

“I am delighted to participate in this exciting work,” Brian says. “Our world is demonstrating an unprecedented thirst for spirituality; and as the hunger for reliable information continues to grow, we have a great opportunity to feed that need.

“With advances in communications technologies, Fellowship for Print Witness is well-positioned to play a growing role in ministering to God’s people and advancing the work of His kingdom,” says Brian.

“I’m honoured to join a team that has such a solid history in the development of Canadian Christian media and look forward to expanding this good work even further. I am eagerly looking forward to working with the many readers, ministries, agencies and businesses who are part of our publishing community.”

Over the past few years, many, many changes have taken place amongst FPW personnel. I don’t think I overstate the case, however, when I say the potential impact for readers with this addition is larger than most. FPW stands in a unique time of significant development potential that needs careful daily stewardship. Brian will do that and do it well.
