Lorna Dueck appointed CEO of Crossroads Christian Communications Inc.

TORONTO -- (CANADIAN CHRISTIAN NEWS SERVICE) -- Crossroads Christian Communications Inc. (Crossroads) and Media Voice Generation Inc. are excited to announce that Lorna Dueck has been appointed CEO of Crossroads effective July 11, 2016.

"Lorna is uniquely qualified with both vision and experience to lead Crossroads into its future," says Gil Scott, Crossroads Board Chair. "She has been at the forefront of Christian journalism in Canada, garnering global recognition for her work in media. Her unique faith perspective on current and cultural events has established her as a sought after voice and trusted guide."

With over 30 years of media experience, Lorna brings an insider's perspective having been part of the Crossroads team from 1994 - 2002, serving as TV co-host of 100 Huntley Street with Crossroads Founder, Rev. David Mainse. From that vantage point, Lorna established a visible Christian witness in Canadian news media by creating Media Voice Generation (MVG) in 2004, and began to operate a Christian weekly news analysis program, Context with Lorna Dueck, out of the CBC building in downtown Toronto. This move continues to position MVG in the heart of Canada's news centre.

"Lorna's primary role will now be to give leadership and vision to Crossroads and YES TV," said Media Voice Generation Board Chair, Cheryl Hudson. "While leading from Crossroads' Burlington headquarters, she will continue as a public voice at Context with Lorna Dueck."

This appointment opens the door for a collaborative approach between MVG and Crossroads, to present a strong and vibrant Christian message in Canadian media.
Both charities can benefit from synergies that will allow them to be more effective in delivering the world's greatest story through relevant and timely programming.

Lorna completed her undergraduate studies at Tyndale University College in Toronto, and earned a Master of Arts in Evangelism and Leadership from Wheaton College. She has served on various non-profit Boards and received leadership awards along with honorary doctorate degrees from Trinity Western, Tyndale and Briercrest Universities. Lorna has received the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal for contributions to Canadian society.

Media Voice Generation and Crossroads Christian Communications Inc. are grateful for the faithful and ongoing support for Christian media ministry by donors and prayer partners during this positive time of transition.

How is it that since Lorna Dueck has joined Crossroads the agenda has changed. There now is a lot of protecting and covering up the goals and doctrine of islam. Has Crossroads, like the mainstream media turned on Christians. Muslims are currently murdering 100,000 Christians a year in islamic countries because they are commanded to in Chapter nine of the koran. Islam grew by conquering Christian and Jewish and other countries and converting by the sword. If these non muslims did not accept islam as their religion or allah as their god they were murdered or at the very least pushed to second class citizenship and forced to pay a special tax to stay alive. This went on for over 400 years before the Crusaders finally stepped in and the death count of these islamic invasions is anywhere from 275 – 850 million. India, or hindus took the biggest hit and Africans came in second. Islam is a lie built on lies and mohammad was not a prophet. Why is a Christian station now supporting this ideology that is mostly political and only a small portion is religious. I do not understand how Christianity can turn on the victims of islam. There is no extremist islam only islam.

You are absolutely right. Islam needs to be exposed for the perverted, disgusting religion that it is. Mr. Mohammed was an illiterate pedophile who wrote his most violent verses while wearing his wife’s clothes, in other words he was a cross-dresser on top of everything else! Sharia cannot be separated from islam, they are intertwined. ‘Moderates’ (so-named by the politically correct West) are contributing to the caliphate by increasing the islamic demographic and they are succeeding. Once their numbers are sufficiently increased at around 4% they’ll begin making demands (e.g. no pork in restaurants/grocery stores), gain positions in political offices, schools, hospitals and yes, even churches) – all the while smiling to gullible Canadians who have wide open arms and big hearts. Remember this: Sarah demanded that Ismael had to go because she saw he was going to be trouble. We are letting Ismael back in. Shame on churches and media ministries like Crossroad that are not doing what it takes to sound the warning.

Dueck is not biblically grounded and has been sucked into the compassion ruse this Justin Trudeau liberal government is using to bring in illegal aliens and economic migrants (so called refugees) into this country expand the liberal party of Canada’s voting base. The church in Canada is in serious trouble with individuals like Dueck at the top of the largest Canadian Christian networks. Christians in Canada are not biblically based and continue to grow weaker and weaker by trying to appease the world. Dueck is very good at that. It is no surprise she set up shop in the CBC building in Toronto.

Canadian Christians, get you head into scripture and allow the Holy Spirit to speak to you. Is Jesus Christ really Lord of the church in Canada or is Justin Trudeau?
