ChristianWeek refocuses for online impact

September 17, 2015—The media landscape in North America is changing. News publications are finding it increasingly difficult to sustain their print publications, ChristianWeek included.
To keep up with this changing climate, ChristianWeek is entering into a new phase, and effective immediately, we will no longer produce our print edition.
Since 1987 ChristianWeek has been privileged to carry thousands of articles highlighting the work of God’s people in Canada and around the world.
Moving forward, ChristianWeek will invest in our online platforms: christianweek.org and our weekly e-News. We see this as an opportunity to increase our impact and expand our diverse readership in Canada and around the world.
We live in time of rapid change and complex realities, a human reality shaped by the stories of God and His people. ChristianWeek is still driven to capture these stories as they unfold across Canada and the world. It’s what we are called to do, and it’s what we do best!
We will continue to operate as a registered charity supported by donations and maintain our independent, unbiased position in the Christian community.
Our website and social media platforms will be fully operational and will continue to offer stories and opinion to Christians in Canada that inform, encourage and inspire.
ChristianWeek is uniquely positioned as Canada’s only independent, national, interdenominational news source. Our goal is to provide practical, balanced, hope-filled perspective on national and global issues. We provide grass roots ministries and initiatives a platform to share their work with a broader audience, and build bridges of understanding between diverse Christian audiences, helping them find areas of commonality.
